STUDIO MAARTEN PLOMP is an architectural studio established in Rotterdam since 2022 where we work on a wide range of projects on different scales. We believe in the collective effort of architecture where every project is an opportunity to learn and expand upon existing knowledge. Together with talented colleagues we are in a constant search of elegant and simple solutions contributing to a sustainable future. 

The ‘act of building’ plays a central role in our design process. By focusing on the practical implementing from an early moment we are able to integrate the complexities of the executing with our architectural philosophy. Through extensive large physical models, technical drawings, work instructions and diagrams for construction we help make the building process transparent and replicate the act of building in the design process.
